We've been rooting for deep tan for a long time here at TMR. Having shown promise with their sparkly early cuts, the trio have settled into their spiky pop sound over the last year or so, with 'deepfake', 'camelot' and 'hollow scene' all worming their way into our psyche. Now, their debut EP creeping speedwells is finally out (courtesy of Practise Music) and to celebrate we have another naughty visualiser. Having become synonymous (in our minds at least) with a filthy sense of humour, the clip they're referring to as a "mudslide visualiser" is the perfect accompaniment to their dirgy new track 'do you ever ascend?'. With a dirty bass line that wallows as if attempting to walk through quicksand, the intriguing track moves through numerous changes in tempo and vibe before settling into a Bush Tetras-esque jam, topped off with the cooly delivered lyrics that serve as the track's namesake.
